Senior Value Engineer

About the Role

• Own Courier Health's value measurement framework end to end. Define the methodologies, benchmarks, and standards that quantify program impact across therapeutic areas. Build the infrastructure that makes rigorous, scalable measurement possible, and continuously evolve it as our platform and client base grows

• Lead the most complex and strategically important analyses in the business. Design experiments, build cohort studies, and surface insights that drive executive decisions. Bring AI fluency to how we collect, process, and interpret data by identifying where automation sharpen our measurement capabilities

• Act as the analytical authority in executive client engagements. Build confidence in Courier's measurement approach at the C-suite level and partner with Sales and Client Solutions on high-stakes QBRs, renewals, and expansion conversations

• Build a culture of rigorous storytelling across the organization. Establish frameworks and coach Sales, Client Solutions, and Value Engineers on translating complex data into narratives that resonate with every audience; from data scientists to CCOs

Qualifications

• Strong passion for Courier Health's mission and improving patient outcomes through technology

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or value engineering in a client-facing environment

• Expert-level SQL and proven experience building scalable analytics infrastructure

• Deep expertise in experimental design, cohort analysis, and identifying confounding variables and data quality issues

• Demonstrated AI fluency. Experience applying AI tooling to analytics workflows and measurement problems

• Track record of scaling systems and standards across a growing organization

• Executive presence with the ability to communicate complex analytical findings to C-suite stakeholders

• Proven ability to influence and coach cross-functional teams without direct authority

• Bonus: Experience with life sciences, specialty pharma, healthcare analytics, or SaaS value measurement

The annual salary range for the target level for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 + equity + benefits, including medical, dental, and vision.
