Senior User Interface (UI) Developer

Deposco is looking for a Senior User Interface (UI) Developer to join our product design and development team. This is a great opportunity to apply your UI design and development skills in a fast-growing environment. You’ll work closely with software developers and designers to enhance a suite of supply chain execution, planning and intelligence software solutions, used by thousands every day in areas like omnichannel retail and supply chain operations. 

In this role, you’ll play a key part in Deposco’s growth by developing new features and solutions. We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in front-end software development who is passionate about building modern, user-friendly software that focuses on simplicity and great usability.

This position also offers the chance to gain valuable experience across various areas like e-commerce, data science, retail and supply chain planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and maintain front-end features using Angular/Material for desktop applications, ensuring a modern, responsive, and intuitive user experience.

• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless, user-friendly applications tailored to various user personas, ensuring regular updates and new features that provide ongoing value.

• Manage and maintain a component library of reusable code, ensuring efficient development and consistency across applications, while building and optimizing components with a focus on usability, performance, and scalability.

• Contribute to a central library of UI best practices and patterns, working closely with the design and development teams to standardize and improve the overall user experience.

• Ensure the user interface is optimized for performance, accessibility, and usability across different platforms and devices, incorporating feedback and insights from user experience testing sessions to drive continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on user interface design and development.

• Strong proficiency in Angular and Angular Material frameworks for building modern, responsive, and dynamic web applications.

• Proven experience managing and maintaining Design Systems including reusable components, layouts, and foundations.

• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end frameworks for building responsive web applications.

• Experience optimizing performance and accessibility for web applications across various devices and platforms, adhering to best practices such as WCAG guidelines.

• Proven ability to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and prototype AI-driven UI components and experiences.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to deliver cohesive and user-centric solutions.

• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA for ticket tracking, Bitbucket for version control, and Confluence for team collaboration and documentation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
