Senior UI/UX Designer (m/f/d)

We're seeking a designer who obsesses over how things work, not just how they look.

Your Responsibilities on this role:
Elevate UX across the Product
• Take design ownership of major product features from discovery through launch, shaping experiences that procurement teams will use daily
• Audit and improve user flows across all modules: identify friction, inconsistency, and complexity that doesn't need to exist
• Own interaction design for our most challenging workflows: multi-step approvals, supplier collaboration, bulk operations, agentic AI-interactions

Build a Design System that scales
• Structure the system for AI-assisted prototyping (Figma Make and similar tools), so we can generate design-aligned screens quickly and reserve your craft for complex interactions
• Establish quality gates: what can be AI-generated vs. what requires hands-on design craft
• Document usage guidelines clearly enough that humans and machines can produce consistent and high-quality design work

Drive Design Decisions with Research
• Conduct user research with buyers and suppliers to deeply understand their workflows and needs
• Validate interaction patterns through prototyping and testing before committing to production
• Turn insights into actionable design opportunities, always connecting your work back to real user problems

Shape how we work
• Define where design effort should focus vs. where systemized patterns and tooling can handle it
• Mentor teammates on design thinking and elevate the overall craft across the company
• Collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to ensure flows survive implementation

Role requirements:
Required
• 5+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or similar complex product environments
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex, multi-step workflows into intuitive experiences
• Strong experience building or contributing to design systems
• Hands-on experience with AI design tools and structuring design systems for machine-readability
• You think in flows and states, not just screens, interaction design is your craft
• Comfortable with ambiguity and unstructured problems in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Deep Figma proficiency
• Fluency in English, bonus points for German
• Valid work permit for Germany
• Please confirm that you have understood that this role is based in Berlin and Office-first
