About the Role

V2 AI is seeking a Senior UI Designer (Consultant) Contractor to join our team.

This role is UI-first, focused on crafting high-quality, polished interfaces for modern digital products. You will work closely with engineers, product teams, and AI specialists to design intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling user interfaces that bring AI-powered experiences to life.

While you’ll have an understanding of UX principles, your strength lies in interaction design, visual design, and delivering production-ready UI.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Design and deliver high-fidelity UI for web and mobile applications
• Translate product and UX requirements into clean, intuitive, and scalable interfaces
• Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI standards
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Refine interactions, states, and micro-interactions to elevate user experience
• Contribute to light UX activities (wireframes, flows) where needed, but with a UI execution focus
• Ensure designs align with brand, accessibility, and usability best practices

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI design (web and/or mobile)
• Proven experience delivering production-ready interfaces and design systems
• Expertise in tools such as Figma (essential)
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and interaction design
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile environments
• Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
