Senior UI Designer

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

1. UI Design: Create high-quality, user-centric interface designs for our website and mobile application, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience

2. Visual Design: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and brand assets to ensure design consistency across all of our modules & platforms

3. Collaboration: Work closely with UX Designers to translate wireframes and user flows into engaging visual designs that align with user needs and business goals

4. Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes & mock-ups to communicate design concepts effectively and gather feedback from different stakeholders

5. Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests & user feedback session to iterate and refine designs based on user insights

6. Design Optimization: Continuously improve & optimize existing UI components & design patterns to enhance user satisfaction & usability

7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product) to ensure successful implementation of designs

8. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to our Junior Designer, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team

9. Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

2. Minimum of 5 years of professional UI design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects

3. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite

4. Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and an eye for details

5. Experience with creating & maintaining design systems + style guides

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders

7. Experience in UX is a huge plus

8. Experience in designing software is also a big plus
