The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Treasurer to join our Finance & Accounting team in Athens. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing organization's financial aspects, including risk management, cash management, investment decisions, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily cash positions across all entities, accounts, and banking partners;
• Own cashflow visibility, including short- and medium-term forecasting and liquidity planning;
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and cash-related balances (high-level ownership, not purely transactional);
• Oversee and validate cash movements, settlements, and treasury operations across the organization;
• Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end treasury processes with a strong focus on automation and scalability;
• Develop and maintain treasury policies, controls, and documentation to ensure strong governance and compliance;
• Own treasury-related collaboration with Technology and Product teams, driving the design, build, and improvement of systems, integrations, and reporting tools;
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for real-time cash monitoring and decision-making;
• Optimize liquidity allocation across banks, accounts, and geographies;
• Manage relationships with banking partners and resolve operational issues;
• Ensure treasury activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies;
• Support business growth by ensuring efficient and scalable treasury operations (vs. heavy investment focus).

Requirements:
• At least 6 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or Payments, preferably within banking or fintech;

• Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor (hands-on, no reliance on a large team);
• Strong understanding of cashflow management, liquidity monitoring, and operational treasury;
• Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end processes and improving existing workflows;
• Ability to work closely with technology teams and understand systems, data flows, and integrations;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset;
• Hands-on experience with treasury systems, ERP platforms, or reconciliation tools (e.g., SAP, Dynamics, etc.);
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data tools (SQL, BI tools, APIs) is a strong plus;
• Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling environment;
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Excellent command of the English language.
