Summary of Role / Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Trading Analyst to join our Hedging desk. The successful candidate will manage own-account trading, contribute to market-making strategies across CFDs, support trading-platform initiatives and manage market-risk exposure.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

●    Develop and execute market-making & own-account trading strategies for CFD/derivative instruments.
●    Evaluate, design, and implement risk system software that will implement internal policies and standards, supporting automated, real-time exposure monitoring and control.
●    Conduct quantitative and qualitative performance reviews to identify improvement areas in execution, spread management, and risk-adjusted returns
●    Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven models to enhance client segmentation, order flow optimization, and detection of abusive trading activity.
●    Contribute to the design and optimization of in-house trading and liquidity management systems, enhancing Tier 1 broker hedging capabilities while reducing operational costs and improving overall profitability.
●    Drive the creation and launch of new trading tools, plugins, services, dashboards and maintain processes documentation
●    Lead trading and process automation initiatives by designing, maintaining, and supervising software and algorithms that minimize human intervention in recurring and operational dealing desk tasks.
●    Monitor and manage market-risk (P&L, exposure, limits) across trading book and hedges.
●    Manage connectivity and integration with trading platforms, order-flow systems, pricing engines.
●    Collaborate with Dev & Risk teams on algorithmic/automated trading tools infrastructure.
●    Analyse trading performance, market micro-structure, latency/price-feed issues; propose improvements.
●    Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, risk controls and trading-limits.
●    Convert trading data into real-time and end-of-day analytical models to assess performance, profitability, and risk efficiency.
●    Any other duties and projects assigned by line manager

Required Skills & Experience:

•    University Degree in Finance or Economics
•    5+ years of experience in a dealing room, quantitative trading, or market risk management role, preferably within a CFD/Forex brokerage or investment bank.
•    Proven experience in managing market risk (P&L, exposure, limits) and performing own-account trading or market-making for derivative instruments
•    Deep understanding of market microstructure, order flow dynamics, and liquidity management
•    Experience in designing, implementing, and supervising software and algorithms for dealing desk automation
•    Strong experience in trading platforms and Risk systems
•    Strong analytical and numerical skills
•    Any experience with Bridges will be considered as an advantage
•    CySec Advanced certificate will be considered as an advantage
•    Fluency in English
