About the Role

Working within the TEG finance team, the Senior Tour Accountant will take full ownership of the end-to-end financial lifecycle for TEG Live, TEG Dainty, and TEG Sport across Australia, NZ, and Asia.

This pivotal role manages the entire process—from initial budgeting and iterative forecasting to final settlements—acting as a key communicator who translates complex financial drivers into clear insights. Beyond technical reporting, you will serve as a proactive business partner to tour managers and senior leadership, driving continuous process improvement and providing the critical financial support necessary to deliver world-class live entertainment in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements:
Outcomes to Deliver

• End-to-End Tour Ownership & Partnering: Take full accountability of the end-to-end tour financial management process—from initial budgeting to final close-out—partnering closely with Tour Managers to provide accurate reporting and iterative re-forecasting as tours progress.
• Strategic Financial Communication: Act as the primary financial advisor, translating complex data and key drivers into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders and providing proactive updates on performance to senior leadership.
• Tour delivery support: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners, providing the financial guidance and support necessary to ensure the successful delivery of every tour.
• Precise Settlements & Revenue Management: Deliver expert tour settlements for artists and promoters; track ticket sales, merchandise, and sponsorship revenue while scrutinizing budgets for cost-saving and rebate opportunities.
• Operational & Transactional Excellence: Manage the full suite of tour accounting including journals, accruals, cash reconciliations, accounts payable (Concur), and proactive accounts receivable collection.
• Compliance, Audit & Contract Integrity: Lead the financial close-out and audit documentation process for artists/agents, ensuring total adherence to regional tax regulations and the financial terms of venue and vendor contracts.
• Process Innovation: Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and challenging the status quo to enhance tour accounting workflows and decision-support tools.

• Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to clearly articulate complex financial data and tour positions to build trust with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, and manage expectations and provide high-level support to internal and external partners.
• Technical Accounting Expertise: A solid background in accounting standards and financial principles to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Pace & Resilience: Ability to thrive and remain focused in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tours, completing tasks accurately and transitioning quickly between priorities without distraction.

Other considerations

This role requires travel within Australia and New Zealand to support tour operations.
