To help reach our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior to Staff Product Designer to join our early stage product team as we prepare to scale. This role will be instrumental in shaping a new design language for how empathy meets automation.

What you’ll do

You’ll drive design across a strategically important product area, developing and maturing a world class consumption experience of qualitative insights for our customers. You will, in extension to your tasks as a designer, be expected to be a strategic and tactical leader for your peers in this user-focused space. You’ll work independently to shape ideas from discovery to delivery, with the support and sparring of other designers when needed. Together, you’ll craft AI-enhanced solutions that simplify complex research workflows and seamlessly fit into the GetWhy ecosystem.

You’ll contribute to our shared Figma design system, owning the patterns and components within your product area to ensure coherence, scalability, and craft across the platform. You will drive the success of content-rich, front-end experiences for AI-powered workflows, leveraging demonstrable experience in content design, interactive media formats, and sophisticated information architecture to get us there. 

Who you are

This is an individual contributor role with expectations of leadership in execution, ideal for someone who is a strong collaborator and natural leader, enjoys the thrill of high ambiguity and opportunity problems, and can iterate quickly with measurable outcomes.

We expect you to:

Be a leader in your team and drive initiatives proactively, with strategic support from a Product Leader and technical support from engineering management.

Lead projects end-to-end, from discovery through execution, optimization and scaling - partnering closely with engineering to ship.

Have shipped complex, high-impact products and can show a portfolio that demonstrates strong problem-solving.

Have experience working in complex B2B products positioned towards enterprise organisations and understand how to approach the needs and requirements of B2B customers.

Have strong fundamentals in qualitative research and a lean discovery approach with continuous user validation.

Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy wearing multiple hats in a small, fast-moving team.

Enjoy and have a strong toolset when it comes to both innovating in new areas as well as executing an iterative long term strategy.

Have a hunger for utilizing new technologies in both your solutions and your own craft.

Already have a design generalists toolset and an eagerness to grow further across UX design, UI design and Service design.
