About the role:
The Senior Test Team Manager is responsible for direct management of the team of QA/Test specialist, as well as ensuring deliverables are met on time and on budget for his/her own project assignments, acting as an SME for the area of responsibility, as well as supporting wider Transfer Agency team in the senior manager capacity.
Your new role
As a Senior Test Team Manager you will be responsible for:
Management Duties
• Manage a team of QA/Test specialist in a challenging matrix organization;
• Develop the team in terms of scope and responsibilities, with the view of achieving and maintaining excellence in key change management activities;
• Mentor reports and junior co-workers in more complex tasks;
• Act as a deputy for Head of Transfer Agency Change Management team;
• Support wider Transfer Agency Change Management community, leveraging specialist knowledge and skills acquired, act as a CM representative for internal and external clients;
• Ensure high level of teams’ deliverables in terms of quality and timeliness;
• Work to ensure organizational goals are adequately reflected in team’s responsibilities and priorities, as well as development goals.
Individual Contributor (QA/Test)
• Act as Subject Matter Expert in systems and processes;
• Follow the testing process outlined in the Test Charter;
• Generate high quality test strategies and test plans; execute on them in the form of documented test cases;
• Create comprehensive test documentation with well-defined, reusable test scripts that are traceable back to requirements;
• Provide test reporting including appropriate metrics;
• Ensure regression testing is performed in a manner that recognizes the risks of introducing defects into an established environment while at the same time meeting deadlines;
• Work closely with PMO Team to ensure that all projects are appropriately resourced and prioritized;
• Provide accurate test estimations to PMO/PM;
• Review all BRDs, providing detailed feedback based on working knowledge of the system being changed and best practice requirements validation;
• All testing to consider functional scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error validation, defect retesting, usability and performance testing;
• Provide support to all downstream test teams; define E2E test strategies that enable full system and regression testing to be completed by these teams within agreed dates. Provide system and operational level expertise to assist in the creation of any test plans;
• Contribute to the evolution of the Test Charter/Methodology to industry best practice and based on industry standards (ISTQB).

Experience and Education:
• Higher education in Technology, Computer Science, Finance
• At least 10 years of experience in working in a software testing position.
• At least 5 years of experience of people management.
Work requirements:
• Hybrid role model - at least 3 days from the office required
Minimum Salary:
zł182 004 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
