Senior Test Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support the delivery of complex digital and ICT initiatives. This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality testing outcomes across multiple systems through the development, execution, and management of testing activities, working closely with project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This role is a 12-month contract and is based on-site in Darwin.

Requirements:
What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain key testing deliverables including Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Status Reports, and Test Summary Reports
• Design, execute, and manage system, integration, user acceptance, production verification, and regression testing activities
• Record and analyse test results, troubleshoot issues, and manage defects through to resolution
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with stakeholders and support end-to-end testing across integrated systems
• Contribute to test automation activities using established automation frameworks and tools
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders during requirements and testing phases
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy across systems and environments
• Provide guidance and support to team members while contributing to a collaborative project environment

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive experience working as a Senior Test Analyst within complex ICT or digital project environments
• Strong experience developing test strategies, test plans, and comprehensive test case suites across multiple testing phases
• Demonstrated experience in integration testing, end-to-end testing, and defect management processes
• Experience with test automation tools such as Smart Bear or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of testing and collaboration tools including Jira and Confluence
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of testing outcomes
• Experience validating data integrity and investigating issues across integrated systems
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB and experience within large-scale or government project environments are highly regarded
