Your mission:
As a Senior Senior technician you are the subject matter expert for plant availability - resolving complex technical issues that exceed standard maintenance scope and serve as a mentor for the technical team
Responsibilities:
• Expert Troubleshooting: Diagnosis and repair of complex malfunctions in automated systems (PLC, Robotics, Mechanics).
• Preventive Maintenance: Optimizing maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Continuous Improvement: Implementing technical modifications to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Mentoring: Providing technical guidance and on-the-job coaching for Junior Technicians and apprentices.
• Project Support: Assisting in the installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of new machinery.
Qualifications:
Competencies (Authority)
• Technical Decision-Making: Defining the method of repair and selecting appropriate technical components or spare parts.
• Release Authority: Final sign-off and re-commissioning of machines after major repairs or maintenance intervals.
• Procurement Request: Authorization to request spare parts and external services within a defined budget.
• Methodological Authority: Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and establishing technical standards for the workshop.
Responsibilities (Accountability)
• Asset Availability: Accountable for the technical readiness and reliability of the machinery park.
• Technical Documentation: Ensuring all technical changes, software updates, and repairs are documented accurately.
• Technical Quality Guard: Ensuring that all technical work performed by the team meets the required safety and precision standards.
