Senior Technical Solutions Architect

The Technical/InfoSec Architect is responsible for designing and architecting secure, scalable, and maintainable systems and solutions within the FinTech environment. This role involves defining technical standards, evaluating technologies, and providing guidance to development teams with a strong focus on security best practices. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in banks or financial institutions and some exposure to banking applications like core banking, CRM, and others.

• Design end-to-end solutions aligning with business needs, considering scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Define technical standards and guidelines for development teams, emphasizing secure coding practices.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks, considering security implications and compatibility with existing banking systems.
• Create clear and comprehensive architectural diagrams and documentation, including security aspects and integration points with banking applications.
• Design and implement security architectures to protect systems and data, considering the specific security requirements of the financial industry.
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analysis for proposed and existing systems, including those interacting with core banking and other applications.

Define security requirements and best practices for application development and infrastructure, tailored to the banking context.

Requirements:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• 10+ years 1 of experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, or in a similar role with a strong emphasis on security.
• Proven experience in designing complex systems and implementing security measures.
• Previous experience in banks or financial institutions is highly preferred.
• Some exposure to banking applications like core banking, CRM, and other relevant systems is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in software architecture patterns and design principles.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices (e.g., OWASP, SANS).
• Proficiency in various technologies and frameworks (e.g., cloud computing, APIs, microservices).
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, local data privacy laws).
• Excellent modeling and diagramming skills (e.g., UML, ArchiMate).
• Basic understanding of network security principles.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain security concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a security-first mindset.
• Ability to think strategically and architect secure solutions aligned with business goals.

• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
