Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to lead engineering delivery and technical direction for our product/platform. You will own architecture decisions, guide a team of engineers, ensure high quality releases, and work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years leading teams or acting as a technical owner.
• Strong knowledge of backend engineering concepts: APIs, databases, caching, security, and system design.
• Solid experience with at least one modern backend framework (e.g., Node.js, Django, Spring, .NET, etc.).
• Strong SQL/relational database skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and data modeling experience.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and production deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality tools, and release processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ruby on Rails development experience (building APIs, background jobs, ActiveRecord performance tuning).
• Experience with Sidekiq/Redis, background processing, and asynchronous systems.
• Frontend knowledge (React/Vue) and full-stack delivery experience.
• Experience with microservices/event-driven architecture.
• Exposure to security/compliance needs (fintech, payments, enterprise).
Nice-to-Have
• Ruby on Rails experience is a plus
