WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW COLLEAGUE:
Senior Technical Implementation Specialist
YOU AND YOUR TEAM
Technical Implementation Specialist team is responsible for performing product installations as well as troubleshooting assistance for clients across APAC countries. We support LSEG desktop and server, transactions, and market data products.
Technical Implementation Specialists are engineering experts who leverage innovative technologies to ensure global consistency of installation processes and faster product implementation.

This team is part of the global group performing technical implementations of internal products all over the world. We work with world’s largest financial institutions taking care of their critical transactions, market and data infrastructure. We have the opportunity to shape the way in which LSEG implements software and hardware on customer sites globally.
SOME OF DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM:
• Performing product installations using global consistent methodologies
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and go-to person for internal stakeholders
• Leading or actively participating in the creation and refinement of new processes and procedures
• Representing the TIS team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives
• Delivering and organizing cross-team trainings to share knowledge and best practices
• Making your work visible through KPI reporting (e.g., lead-time-to-deliver, effort tracking)
• Driving innovation and optimization in daily operations and technical workflows
• Performing product installations using globally consistent methodologies
• Executing tasks from project plans and Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Troubleshooting and resolving implementation issues to minimize client impact
• Assist with ProCare (tailored solutions for customers on top of existing product portfolio)
• Participating in product migrations and implementations of financial systems
• Maintaining and updating technical documentation (e.g., Visio diagrams)
• Providing feedback to QA and Development teams to improve product quality
• Delivering technical training/guidance to both clients and internal teams
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
• Proactive can-do attitude
• Expert knowledge in key areas including operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking technologies, security standards
• Good problem management and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a customer facing technical service role
• Ability to work with virtual teams to successfully deliver projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external teams
• Understanding of project management principles
• Logical thinking/problem solving, self-motivation and a strong contribution within a team
• Fluency in English as working languages (knowledge of an additional language would be an advantage)
YOU WILL BE EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE IF:
• You have hands on experience with computer networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing)
• You are familiar with any of the programming/coding languages (e.g. Bash, Java, Python, .NET, Angular, Powershell)
• You know IT security standards and best practices
• You are experienced in financial applications
• You have basic awareness of any of the Cloud environments (Google, AWS, Azure)
• Your have financial domain knowledge(Good to have)
