Senior Technical Accountant (70K-80K+Bonus) (Morris Cty NJ)

Senior Technical Accountant -- Financial Reporting.

-Manage various internal and external financial reporting requirements, including responsibilities related to fiscal month-end financial close, facilitation with external audits of financial statements and related SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings, various SOX 404 compliance efforts, quarterly XBRL reporting and involvement in special projects.

•Assist with aspects of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close, financial statement preparation, analysis and variance reporting.

•Assist in the preparation of periodic reports to the SEC (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K)

•Understand, maintain and update our XBRL reporting framework for SEC compliance

•General Ledger account reconciliations

•Assist in compliance of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act

-Involved in special projects which may include; divestitures, acquisitions, implementation of new accounting pronouncements etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting required

•CPA or serious CPA candidate required

•2+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting required Functional/Technical Knowledge

•Strong working knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting regulations •Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access

70K-80K Range + Bonus
