Your role

Working closely with partners, managers, or other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements.

Delivering high quality tax planning, services, and advice.

Leading special tax engagements.

Providing support, coaching and professional development to firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and tax matters on an ongoing basis.

Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients.

Preparing and presenting technical sessions to firm staff.

What you bring to the table 

6 or more years of experience plus of progressive public accounting experience with a focus in taxation

CPA designation

Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax program or Masters of Tax Program

Prior experience working on complex tax transactions

Excellent analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions

Demonstrated ability to manage people and client deliverables

Experience with Caseware and tax research software

Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams

Proven project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines

Strong commitment to professional client service excellence

Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
