Prasad and Company LLP is a growing team looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our tax department.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow, be developed, and build themselves into a strong senior tax advisor while working on complex and meaningful client engagements.

You will take ownership of multiple tax engagements and act as a key support to the Senior Tax Managers, providing both compliance and advisory expertise while helping deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.
What you’ll do:
Prepare and review Canadian tax engagements, including corporate tax returns, T1/T3 filings, tax provisions, and year-end reporting (T4s/T5s), ensuring compliance with government standards and internal quality expectations
Support our Senior Tax Managers with corporate reorganizations, tax-free rollovers, and engagement planning projects
Review legal and corporate documents to identify tax issues and opportunities
Communicate with clients and tax authorities on compliance matters
Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and client summaries
Review work prepared by junior team members and provide feedback
Identify tax planning opportunities and support implementation of strategies
Support process improvement and contribute to team development
What we’re looking for:
CPA designation (in good standing with CPA Ontario)
Completion or enrollment in the In-Depth Tax Program and/or MTax (asset)
Minimum 3+ years in public accounting in a tax-focused role
Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate, partnership, and personal tax
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Working experience with CaseWare and a tax preparation software is essential
Working knowledge of Karbon is considered an asset
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Our compensation ranges are reviewed annually, and placement within the range is based on a combination of factors, including your experience, technical expertise, and overall alignment with internal equity and team contribution. To support transparency, the current salary range for this role is $100,000–$120,000.
