Senior Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist

At The Third Estimate, people drive performance—and we are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist who knows how to find, attract, and retain top talent while strengthening the employee experience.
This is a recruiting-first HR leadership role for someone who understands that hiring is the engine behind growth. We need a high-energy, people-focused professional who can build strong pipelines, improve manager hiring discipline, reduce turnover, and help create a culture where top performers thrive.
You will partner directly with leadership to elevate recruiting strategy, improve onboarding, support employee relations, and drive accountability throughout the organization.

What You’ll Own
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Growth (Primary Focus)
Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance
Build creative recruiting pipelines beyond job boards through networking, referrals, trade schools, community partnerships, and social sourcing
Partner with hiring managers to improve interview quality and hiring decisions
Create recruiting strategies for high-volume and leadership roles
Improve time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and new hire retention
Build a compelling candidate experience that reflects our culture and standards
Lead onboarding to ensure new hires are engaged and productive quickly
Employee Relations & HR Partnership
Support managers with coaching, performance conversations, documentation, and corrective action
Serve as a trusted resource for conflict resolution and employee relations matters
Assist leadership in strengthening accountability and team performance
Help reduce regrettable turnover through stronger hiring and retention practices
Culture, Engagement & Retention
Drive initiatives that improve morale, engagement, and team connection
Support recognition programs, internal communications, and company events
Help leadership reinforce culture standards across all locations
Build programs that strengthen retention and employee development
HR Compliance & Operations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain employee records, documentation, and policy updates
Support leave administration, benefits communication, and HRIS reporting
Improve HR processes and workflows that create a better employee experience
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
3–5+ years of recruiting experience with HR Generalist exposure
Proven success recruiting in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Strong background in employee relations and performance coaching
Excellent understanding of employment law and HR compliance
Strong communicator with executive presence and manager influence
Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Comfortable being visible, hands-on, and accountable
Experience in construction, home improvement, trades, or field-service industries strongly preferred
HRIS or CRM experience preferred
Highly tech-savvy with strong proficiency in ATS, HRIS, CRM systems, sourcing platforms, reporting dashboards, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace

Compensation
$80,000–$90,000 base salary + performance-based bonus
