About the Team

You will join a highly collaborative and customer-centric Systems Engineering team that embodies Nutanix’s values of humility, honesty, and a bias for action. Based in Madrid, Spain, the team's mission is to deliver exceptional technical leadership while empowering customers to fully leverage their Enterprise Cloud, Virtualization, Storage, Kubernetes, and AI capabilities. This dynamic environment facilitates teamwork and encourages innovation to help drive customer success.

You will report to the Systems Engineering Manager for Spain, who fosters an inclusive and growth-oriented atmosphere where team members are encouraged to share their expertise and continuously elevate Nutanix’s impact across Iberia. The role offers a fully remote work setup, with no mandatory office days; however, the new hire may be required to attend the office occasionally for team events or training sessions.

The position requires travel of approximately 30-40%, providing opportunities to engage with clients and partners in various locations as needed to support the business and foster strong relationships.

Your Role

Lead complex deals in the enterprise market and public sector to drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure and cloud-native solutions tailored to client needs.
Engage with clients, understand their requirements, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Act as a strategic interface with Product Management to communicate market insights and feature requirements.
Support the onboarding and training of new team members to enhance team capabilities.
Maintain strong customer relationships by guiding them through proposal, evaluation, and validation phases of the sales cycle.
Develop deep knowledge of hybrid multicloud architectures and effectively communicate Nutanix’s business value to diverse audiences.
Achieve first-year objectives related to revenue targets, customer satisfaction, and team collaboration effectiveness.

What You Will Bring

8+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the enterprise market and public sector.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing complex deals.
Expertise in both infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus, but not mandatory.
Ability to adapt and thrive in challenging environments.
Experience in conducting presentations and technical demonstrations to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of hybrid multicloud architectures and modern data center solutions.

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
