Are you ready to discover the role of a Senior System Integration & Workflow Specialist in Netcompany?

As a Senior System Integration & Workflow Specialist, you will:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the EU DB project, a central registry of health-related medical devices and applications, including declaration management and a searchable catalogue.
• Develop and maintain backend services using a fully reactive architecture (Vert.x) with MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Ensure high code quality through unit and integration testing, following best practices (testing skills will be assessed during the interview).
• Support frontend development based on Vue.js 3, built on the Piveau open-source platform, with a full-stack mindset.
• Collaborate closely with the existing frontend developer, providing support on Git workflows, Dockerized environments, and backend integration.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain applications in Linux environments, using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of the platform.
• Work in close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders within an EU institutional context.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. 
• Experience of more than 12 years with backend development using Java, with exposure to reactive frameworks (Vert.x or similar).
• Ability to contribute to full-stack development, including support of a Vue.js 3 frontend.
• Experience of more than 12 years with API design and integration (HTTP, REST).
• Experience of more than 12 years with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB as well as with GraphQL database
• Proven experience in unit and integration testing, following best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production or near-production environments.
• Experience working in cloud-native or containerized architectures.
• Professional working proficiency in English, enabling collaboration in an international environment
