We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our technology operations team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in enterprise monitoring, system performance management, and IT operations platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining highly available systems, implementing monitoring strategies, and ensuring proactive incident detection across complex enterprise environments.

As a Senior System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of enterprise infrastructure. You will leverage advanced monitoring and analytics tools such as AppDynamics, SolarWinds, NNMi, Splunk, ServiceNow, and Power BI to provide real-time insights, optimize system performance, and support operational excellence.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise monitoring platforms including AppDynamics, SolarWinds, and NNMi (Network Node Manager i) to ensure continuous visibility into system and network health.
• Configure, optimize, and manage Splunk for log aggregation, monitoring, and advanced analytics to identify anomalies and improve system reliability.
• Integrate monitoring platforms with ServiceNow to enable automated incident management, alert correlation, and streamlined operational workflows.
• Design and implement proactive monitoring strategies to detect system performance issues before they impact business operations.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to provide operational insights, infrastructure performance trends, and SLA metrics for technical and leadership teams.
• Monitor application, server, and network performance and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for system outages, performance degradation, and recurring incidents.
• Ensure monitoring systems are properly configured with alerts, thresholds, and escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, network, and security teams to ensure infrastructure observability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and monitoring architecture diagrams.
• Support system upgrades, patch management, and infrastructure improvements to maintain reliability and compliance.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior administrators and operations team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure monitoring, or IT operations roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AppDynamics, SolarWinds, and NNMi for infrastructure and application performance monitoring.
• Expertise in Splunk for log management, dashboards, alerts, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating monitoring tools with ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management workflows.
• Proficiency in Power BI for creating operational dashboards and performance reporting.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server environments, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with monitoring hybrid or cloud infrastructure environments is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise IT service management practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with distributed systems.
• Certifications related to Splunk, ServiceNow, or enterprise monitoring platforms are advantageous.
• Exposure to automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is beneficial.
