At PwC, our people in sustainability focus on integrating environmental, social, economic, and governance considerations into business strategies and operations. They provide guidance and support to organisations by managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact.

As a sustainability generalist at PwC, you will utilise your skills and experience across environmental, social, governance (ESG) topics and sustainability more broadly. You will analyse client needs and provide consulting services across different areas in the sustainability lifecycle, including strategy, transformation, and reporting.

PwC Ukraine is expanding its Sustainability services team and is seeking a Senior Consultant with strong expertise to support the delivery of ESG and sustainability engagements. 

You'll help companies and businesses become more socially and environmentally responsible in how they operate. You'll need to create sustainable solutions for the often-conflicting needs of people, the environment, development and successful business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and enhancement of sustainability strategies, including integration of ESG considerations into business strategy and operations. 

• Support alignment of sustainability and non‑financial reporting with ESRS and other relevant ESG standards and frameworks. 

• Perform gap analyses, reviews, and audits related to environmental and sustainability topics. 

• Independently deliver ESG‑related audits or projects and prepare clear, structured written reports with findings and recommendations. 

• Support clients in sustainability, TCFD, carbon footprint reporting, and non‑financial data management in line with selected methodologies. 

• Contribute to the development of learning materials, presentations, and workshops for clients and internal teams.

• Stay up to date with regulatory developments, ESG standards, and leading sustainability practices. 

• Work as part of international project teams, collaborating with ESG and sustainability experts across different countries. 

• Support and guide Interns and Associates in their day‑to‑day project work. 

Requirements:

• University degree or adequate proof of education in environmental sciences or related fields.  

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferably in the following areas: sustainability reporting, carbon footprint calculations, net zero transition, sustainable supply chain management.  

• Familiarity with relevant industry-specific ESG challenges and opportunities. 

• In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g. CSRD, ESRS, GRI, TCFD, ISSB...). 

• Upper-Intermediate/ Advanced English language skills.  

• Strong skills with data collection, analytics, modelling, and visualization.  

• Independence in planning and execution of projects from the beginning until its delivery.  

• Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
