Location: Lancing, West Sussex- Bespoke complex needs service
Salary: £14.75 per hour (reviewed annually)
Hours: 36 hours per week (Days)
Contract: Permanent
Requirement: Driving licence essential (automatic, held 1+ year)
Lead, Mentor, and Make a Difference as a Senior Support Worker
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Senior Support Workers to join our SDR Care team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide 2:1, person-centred support to a young Individual with autism, a learning disability, and epilepsy, while leading and mentoring the team to ensure consistently high-quality care.
The individual you’ll support enjoys:

Your role as a Senior Support Worker includes delivering care, creating a safe and structured environment, and supporting professional development for other staff. You will also drive the service user’s vehicle to community activities, so a valid driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred care as a Senior Support Worker
Lead, mentor, and support other Support Workers
Maintain consistent, high-quality care and routines
Drive safely for community outings and appointments
Promote independence, confidence, and life skills for the individual
Support team training and professional development
Who We’re Looking For
Leadership experience within learning disability or complex needs settings
Experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role
Creative, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference
Confident driver for day activities
Strong communication and mentoring skills
