Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations across our fast-growing e-commerce business. This role will be responsible for overseeing demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and fulfillment operations, with a strong focus on Amazon and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.
The ideal candidate has deep experience managing supply chains in the beauty or personal care industry, understands the complexities of Amazon operations, and has successfully worked with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure efficient, scalable fulfillment. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s continued growth across multiple sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Operations
• Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and fulfillment operations.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support growth across Amazon and e-commerce channels.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to maintain strong in-stock rates while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
• Implement scalable processes and systems to support rapid growth and operational efficiency.
Amazon & E-commerce Operations
• Oversee inventory planning and replenishment for Amazon FBA, FBM, and other e-commerce platforms.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and product availability across Amazon and DTC channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align supply planning with marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
3PL & Logistics Management
• Manage relationships with 3PL partners, ensuring service level agreements, operational performance, and cost efficiency are maintained.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, freight coordination, and warehouse operations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize shipping costs, lead times, and fulfillment performance.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
• Build and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and finance to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor inventory health metrics including sell-through rates, safety stock levels, and reorder points.
Supplier & Production Coordination
• Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to manage production schedules, lead times, and purchase orders.
• Ensure supply continuity and proactively mitigate risks related to delays, shortages, or production constraints.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms when applicable.
Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
• Analyze key supply chain metrics including inventory turnover, fill rates, stockouts, and logistics costs.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Develop reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into supply chain performance.
Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or logistics.
• Strong experience managing supply chains for Amazon and e-commerce businesses.
• Proven experience working with 3PL providers and fulfillment operations.
• Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or CPG industry is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and supply planning.
• Familiarity with Amazon FBA operations, replenishment planning, and marketplace inventory management.
• Experience working with ERP, inventory management, and forecasting tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into operational improvements.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce environment.
