Senior Supervisor Application Engineering (m/w/d)

What to expect in this role:

• Lead and develop a team of 4 engineers for Dry Gas Seal Support System (GSS) pre- and post-order engineering
• Serve as GSS subject matter expert and ensure overall engineering KPIs, focusing on on-time delivery and quality metrics
• Plan projects and allocate resources using DOSE, MS Project, and the global I-Project tool; support migration to new project-management software
• Provide accurate man-hour estimates and promise dates, ensuring timely submission of all engineering deliverables and technical clarifications
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supply chain to meet service levels, identify vendors, and align critical components
• Learn and apply Hysys for project execution
• Train and mentor the engineering team, fostering best practices and continuous process improvements 

What you should bring to the role:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering discipline
• Several years of engineering experience and at least 2 years in a team-lead role
• Strong background in process engineering and seal systems across industries such as polymer, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, refinery, and turbomachinery
• Solid understanding of mechanical seal business, engineering design and operations, and key industry practices to drive growth and innovation
• Experience with specification review, P&ID preparation, bill of material preparation, technical alignment, and review of 3D & 2D GADs and fabrication drawings
• Excellent leadership, communication, and multitasking skills with fluency in both German and English
• Good team player
