We’re looking for a Senior Studio Lead to join our Charleston studio team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about design, thrives in a client‑facing environment, and takes pride in delivering an elevated, concierge‑level experience at every touchpoint.
As a Senior Studio Lead, you’ll be a true ambassador of the Phillip Jeffries brand, inspiring clients, building lasting relationships, and driving sales while ensuring our studio operates with excellence and intention.
What You Will Do
Client Experience & Studio Sales
Create unforgettable, “7‑star” experiences for every client who enters the studio
Lead curated product presentations tailored to individual client needs and project specifications
Serve as a trusted wallcovering resource, guiding designers through selection, sampling, and specification
Manage and grow a personal sales pipeline aligned to studio and individual sales goals
Build strong relationships with assigned accounts, encouraging repeat business and long‑term partnerships
Business Development & Client Growth
Introduce Phillip Jeffries to new clients with confidence, warmth, and product knowledge
Actively prospect and generate new leads through outreach, social media, and networking
Participate in local industry events to build visibility and deepen client connections
Support new clients through onboarding and their journey from first‑time buyer to loyal partner
Studio Operations & Brand Presentation
Ensure consistent studio coverage during business hours and maintain a welcoming environment
Oversee studio sampling, wing boards, vignettes, and display accuracy
Coordinate and host studio events, product launches, and growth initiatives
Partner cross‑functionally with CX, Marketing, Design, and Sales teams to support client needs
Maintain accurate CRM activity, follow‑ups, and reporting to support performance and transparency
This Role Is a Great Fit If You
Have experience in luxury design, high‑end retail, or a design‑driven sales environment
Bring a strong customer‑centric mindset and pride yourself on service excellence
Enjoy building relationships and becoming a trusted resource to your clients
Are organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
Communicate clearly and collaborate well with both studio and cross‑functional teams
Are comfortable using CRM and Microsoft 365 tools (CRM experience a plus)
Have a background or formal education in sales, marketing, design, art, art history, or merchandising (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits
Our total rewards philosophy is designed to recognize contribution, support long‑term growth, and reward the impact our people make on the Phillip Jeffries experience.
Competitive base salary range of $50,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
Quarterly and year‑end sales incentive opportunities, based on performance and business results
Total annual compensation is performance‑based and will vary depending on individual results, territory performance, and overall market conditions
Annual cost‑of‑living increase, supporting long‑term growth and stability
Retirement savings plan, with an automatic company contribution of approximately 10% of total annual compensation
