REQUIREMENTS:
• Total Experience 8+ years
• Strong advanced expertise in Natural/ADABAS or Cobol/DB2
• Intermediate knowledge of JCL
• Strong programming and coding fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with batch and online (transactional) applications
• Good understanding of mainframe architecture and database concepts
• Exposure to mainframe modernization is an added advantage
• Experience with debugging and issue analysis on mainframe systems
• Familiarity with tools like NaturalONE (or similar editors), job schedulers, and Jira
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Writing and reviewing great quality code.
• Analyze existing applications and document business logic, technical design, and process flow
• Understand requirements and deliver high-quality code within defined timeline
• Perform unit testing and ensure code meets quality standards
• Debug, analyze, and resolve production issues, providing timely fixes or workarounds
• Maintain and update technical documentation for enhancements and fixes
• Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering and status reporting
• Support and mentor team members as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement and modernization initiatives
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project guidelines
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
