Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with data quality frameworks and tools (Soda Core or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Lakehouse architectures and Medallion design.
• Proficiency in AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena) and data validation techniques.
• Able to identify ways to automate their work / repetitive tasks.

Governance & Automation

• Knowledge of data contracts, metadata management, and lineage tools (OpenMetadata preferred).
• Experience in building automated validation and reconciliation pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive adoption.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver aggressive migration targets.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Work with Jira and agile way of working.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or data quality roles, with at least 3 years in data assurance leadership.
• Experience in financial services or banking domain is a strong plus.
