Senior SQA Engineer (Manual)

Job Summary:

Manual Testers with a strong understanding of testing fundamentals and the ability to operate effectively in a micro-services-based architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing test scripts, tracing API calls via application logs, and working in dynamic enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.

• Use basic testing tools to record, manage, and track testing progress and defects.

• Review application logs to trace end-to-end flow of API calls across distributed

systems.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing as needed.

• Understand microservices architecture to navigate logs and validate service

interactions.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to

ensure quality and traceability.

• Document test results, raise defects, and participate in defect triaging.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on manual testing experience.

• Proficiency in using basic testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.

• Ability to read and analyze application logs (e.g., in ELK stack, CloudWatch, or

similar).

• Understanding of microservices environments and distributed system behaviors.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Basic understanding of APIs and their validation methods.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in large enterprise or financial domain environments.

• Exposure to test data management or test automation frameworks.
