Join Qiddiya Investment Company as a Senior Specialist - Media Relations, where you will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing our media presence. This position is designed for a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, who will be responsible for creating and executing media relations strategies that effectively communicate our vision and promote our projects to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key influencers in the media industry to facilitate positive coverage of our initiatives.
• Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials that effectively convey Qiddiya’s messages and stories.
• Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media events to maximize opportunities for media engagement.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze trends to evaluate the effectiveness of media relations efforts, reporting findings to senior management.
• Stay abreast of industry news and trends to proactively identify opportunities for positive media exposure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive messaging strategy across all communications channels.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications, preferably within the tourism, entertainment, or leisure sectors.
• Strong understanding of media landscape, with a proven track record of securing positive media coverage.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a talent for storytelling.
• Ability to analyze media trends and derive actionable insights from metrics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative media strategies.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a distinct advantage.
