Senior Specialist / Lead, Regional Operations & Strategy (Remote – USA)

Our Purpose – Bridging the World Through Travel
We believe travel allows people to enjoy, learn, and experience more of the amazing world we live in. It brings individuals and cultures closer together, fostering empathy, understanding, and happiness. Harnessing our innovative technologies and strong partnerships, we aim to make travel easy and rewarding for everyone.

Get to Know Our Team

We work closely with regional and country Supply (sales) teams and with partners across Booking Holdings, including Priceline, to:

• Drive commercial performance and operational excellence

• Identify and optimize growth opportunities across hotel supply

• Improve internal processes and tools

• Support data driven decision-making with robust analytics and reporting

A key part of this role is to act as a bridge between Agoda and Priceline teams, helping both sides understand each other’s context, constraints, and goals, and finding practical ways to work together effectively.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Lead, Regional Operations & Strategy (Remote – USA) to support our Regional Management Office in driving performance, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives across both Agoda and Priceline. This role combines project management, operations / process excellence, and business intelligence / analytics, with a strong “translator / connector” component. You will:

• Support and lead regional and global initiatives involving both Agoda and Priceline teams

• Drive end-to-end project execution where processes, tools, and incentives may differ between companies

• Build and maintain reporting and analytical frameworks that work across both organizations

• Partner closely with Supply / Business Development, Operations, and Strategy stakeholders in both Agoda and Priceline to translate data and strategy into concrete, measurable outcomes

You will often be the bridge between teams: translating terminology, expectations, and ways of working from one company to the other, surfacing operational differences, and helping stakeholders converge on a workable middle ground.

This is a remote role based in the United States, collaborating with global stakeholders across time zones.

In This Role, You’ll Get To

1) Project & Program Execution

• Support and sometimes lead cross company projects and pilots that involve Agoda and Priceline stakeholders, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and KPIs.

• Translate high-level goals from each company into a joint project plan with well-defined deliverables and owners.

• Track progress against milestones, flag risks or blockers early, and help drive issues to resolution.

• Prepare concise updates and materials for senior stakeholders, summarizing progress, risks, and decisions needed.

2) Operations & Process Excellence

• Map, compare, and document operational processes between Agoda and Priceline (e.g., partner onboarding, inventory and rate management, promos and campaigns, support workflows).

• Identify gaps, overlaps, and conflicts in how the two organizations operate; propose pragmatic, mutually acceptable solutions.

• Work with internal systems and tools to ensure data accuracy and proper execution of commercial levers.

• Support daytoday operational excellence across regional Supply teams, including campaign execution, partner data quality, and adoption of standard processes.

• Cocreate and maintain bridge documentation (process maps, RACI, data definitions, terminology glossaries) that help teams on both sides work together smoothly.

3) Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Track and analyze key performance metrics at country / region / segment level (e.g., production, coverage, conversion, partner engagement, campaign performance).

• Use SQL and Excel/BI tools to extract, transform, and analyze data, turning it into clear, actionable insights.

• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that provide visibility on performance and initiative impact for Agoda and Priceline stakeholders.

• Reconcile metrics, definitions, and data structures between the two companies, and highlight where differences in KPIs or definitions lead to misalignment.

• Provide data driven recommendations for how to compare, harmonize, or translate these metrics across organizations.

4) Stakeholder Management & Cross Functional Collaboration

• Act as a trusted point of contact for Agoda and Priceline stakeholders on selected initiatives.

• Translate topics, language, and context between the two companies—for example, aligning on what a term, metric, or process means in each environment.

• Facilitate workshops, syncs, and working sessions to explore operational differences and guide stakeholders toward a “happy middle point” that is feasible, scalable, and beneficial for both sides.

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, and other central teams as needed to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and implementation details.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data/Analytics, Hospitality, or a related field.

• Typically 2–5 years of experience in operations, strategy, project/program support, business intelligence, or management consulting, ideally in a fast paced, data driven environment.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with experience working with data to answer business questions.

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort with data manipulation and modeling.

• Working knowledge of SQL (or similar query language) and experience with BI / data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Superset, etc.) or willingness to learn quickly.

• Demonstrated experience driving workstreams or projects (even without direct reports): managing tasks, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering on timelines.

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); able to explain complex topics clearly and tailor the message to different audiences.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.

• Team player with strong collaboration skills and a proactive, “get it done” attitude.

• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.

It’s Great If You Have

• Experience in internet, ecommerce, technology, or travel industries.

• Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Excellence, or Regional Operations.

• Prior exposure to cross company or cross brand projects (e.g., within a group like Booking Holdings or other multi-brand organizations).

• Experience designing or improving internal tools or workflows for commercial teams.

• Advanced analytics skills (e.g., Python/R, experimentation frameworks) are a plus but not required.

Location

• Remote – United States

• Requires flexibility to collaborate with teams located across different time zones.
