Senior Solutions Architect

To support our continued growth and to meet with project and client demands, we currently looking to add to our solutions architecture capability by way of hiring a Senior Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

The position of the Solutions Architect will involve the following responsibilities:

• Experience working with, and designing solution elements across, a range of technologies and specialisms.
• Experience of architecting solutions within public cloud providers such as (AWS / Azure) .
• Awareness and understanding of serverless computing, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS .
• Experience in one or more of the core Microsoft Products (AD, SQL Server, Exchange, M365, Teams, SharePoint SCCM/WSUS/MDT).
• Working with Senior Architects to identify core and project specific resources for delivery.
• Assuring and where applicable producing Low Level Designs - end to end architecture solutions within the Cloud arena.
• Managing and updating the detailed Platform Roadmaps, Patterns & Standards within the architecture practice.
• Undertaking digital transformation discovery exercises for small and medium organisation producing impact assessments & recommendations.
• Ensuring architectural governance over solution elements delivery when related to Cloud platform.
• Engaging IT & Business representatives to enable architectural change.
• Consulting with other members of architecture team.
• Interfacing with third party suppliers of products and services.
• Acting as escalation point for technical and architectural issues.

Requirements:
• Experience in a similar client facing solution driven role, such a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect or Solutions Engineer
• The ability to work effectively with business and IT stakeholders, both internal and partners.
• Experience of systems integration, systems development and service operation environments.
• Evidence of previous technical design and architectural experience.
• Experience of end-to-end architecture, covering business requirements through to technical deployments and service design.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
• A well-developed communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to work within a Matrix management organisation.
• Strong Governance focus.
• Evidence of proven technical design and architectural experience with cloud technologies, specifically MS Azure.
• Experience of the practical application of the ITIL service management framework.
• Eligible for SC Clearance would be desirable
