About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect Billing and Payment to join our team in Germany. You’ll work closely with SAP and our clients to design a performant, composable insurance billing and payments cloud platform — helping co-create the future of financial services. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting skills and a passion for collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Represent SAP Fioneer in technical discussions with SAP product owners
• Pitch and lead co-innovation initiatives with clients
• Design architecture for cloud collections and disbursements platform, including insurance-specific solution designs for corporates in areas such as broker collection, premium collection, co-insurance settlement, financial accounting, and reporting
• Participate in our Design Authority Board and make critical design decisions
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and shape architectures for entirely new software
• Support IT transformation projects and landscape design
• Act as a trusted advisor in customer-facing engagements
• Engage with clients to understand their processes, identify recurring patterns, and feed insights into our internal knowledge base and product strategy
• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP Fioneer technologies

Requirements:
• 10+ years of professional experience, including proven experience in a senior architecture or solution design role within insurance IT
• Deep insurance expertise in collection and disbursements for technical transactions and accounting is required
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition and application architecture
• Experience in IT transformation and consulting
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks
• Data modelling and business process modelling in an insurance context
• Business fluent in English and German
• High flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable in dynamic, innovative environments
