Senior Software Engineer - XR

NVIDIA is seeking top engineers to help shape the future of XR — from glasses to Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Spatial Computing. We are looking for an outstanding engineer to contribute to the progress of all aspects of XR development. In this role, you will apply both AI and systems knowledge and technical leadership to scale development of NVIDIA's XR efforts. What you'll be doing:

• Applying AI, graphics, networking and computer vision techniques to improve glasses, AR, VR and Spatial Computing systems

• Engaging in cross platform development in C++ and python

• Creating innovative designs and algorithms to power new AI and robotics systems

What we need to see:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 6+ years of experience in a similar or related role

• Significant experience in C++

• Practical experience solving real world problems with at least one of: AI, robotics, real-time rendering, media streaming and networking.

• Extensive experience working in large scale code bases / projects

• Phenomenal team player and collaborator

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with XR development: augmented reality, virtual reality, or spatial computing in any form factor: glasses, headsets or smartphones.

• Experience with game engines like Unreal and Unity

• Background in GPU, framerate and latency optimization

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
