Whom are we looking for?
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the system operations of the customer sites while developing a committed engineering team around it. This includes integrating with different types of hardware and all its particularities, as well as implementing the overall strategies that steer the hardware. With your affinity with Software and Hardware solutions and, ideally, Energy Monitoring Systems, you will have a tremendous impact in bringing our operations to the next level.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
Lead the execution and end-to-end ownership of new implementations and operational strategies.
Autonomously drive the implementation and optimization of system operations for customer sites.
Act as a technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders (occasionally at their site), providing insights and guidance on technical aspects of projects.
Fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment to support a high-performance engineering team.
Operate with a high degree of independence, requiring only light technical supervision for strategic validation.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience;
5-7 years of experience with Software Development;
Affinity with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, Modbus, Spring.
Proven track record of driving projects autonomously and managing technical scope involving cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with liaising directly with customers and external stakeholders is a bonus point
A thorough understanding of power, energy and the challenges that hardware can bring.
Modbus & hardware experience is highly preferred.
Work experience or affinity with Energy Monitoring System (EMS)
Work experience or affinity with Time-Series database
A proactive learner with active interest in the evolving cybersecurity landscape and a commitment to staying current with industry best practices (such as ISO 27001 or CISSP frameworks)
