Job Overview

We are looking for a highly capable and collaborative Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is critical to the evolution of our platform and the scale of our services. You will help architect, build, and maintain reliable and scalable systems that enable us to integrate with our partners and deliver excellent care to patients. You will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership to translate our healthcare mission into high-performing software systems.

Responsibilities & Duties

Overall Objective

Design, build, and maintain integrated systems that empower our internal staff and deliver meaningful healthcare outcomes for patients and providers.

Technical Leadership

Contribute to architectural decisions and design patterns for services and infrastructure

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Clinical) to translate requirements into scalable tech solutions

Identify and implement best practices for code quality, testing, security, observability, and compliance

Help evolve our tooling, deployment practices, and monitoring systems to support scale and reliability

Engineering & Delivery

Build features and capabilities that align with business goals and operational needs

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with quality test coverage

Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to reliability and continuous improvement

Collaboration & Culture

Provide code reviews and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers

Foster a positive, collaborative, and feedback-driven engineering culture

Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal documentation to support engineering excellence

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

6+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in startup or high-growth environments

Familiarity with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript)

Experience designing APIs, working with relational databases, and building scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines

Experience building event-driven architectures or using messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, SNS/SQS)

Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences and a collaborative, low-ego approach to problem solving

Bonus: Experience in healthcare, care coordination, or compliance-heavy sectors
