Senior Software Engineer (SDET) - Tieto Indtech (m/f/d)

With us you will be responsible for: 

• Building, maintaining and enhancing test automation frameworks using modern tools, principles and practices in the field of test automation. 

• Designing comprehensive test cases that cover functional and non-functional requirements. Automating the test cases and maintaining, reviewing and enhancing the test scripts. 

• Coaching and enabling feature development teams to enhance adoption of the test automation practices and frameworks in order maximize test automation coverage for the enterprise scale products 

• Coaching and enabling feature development teams to improve their testing and quality practices 

• Suggesting new ideas/improvements as and when feasible 

We expect you to have:  

• 6+ years of overall hands-on experience in test automation 

• Excellent skills in C#, .NET, .NET Core, Selenium, Playwright, SpecFlow, and API test automation tools like RestSharp 

• Practical knowledge of various software development principle (E.g. OOP, SOLID), practices (Clean Coding, TDD etc.) and other practices followed in the organization 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical & logical skills and an ability to find necessary information independently 

• Good understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies 

• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and MSSQL 

• Ability to create and manage test data to simulate real-world scenarios (including utilization of AI tools for generating test data) 

• Ability to identify risks and communicating any risks, bottlenecks in the delivery to stakeholders 

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). 

• Familiarity with security testing tools and practices 

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle 

• Ability to work with the complex distributed web systems and see the big picture 

• Good understanding of working in an Agile set up, and ability to work in the cross-functional teams
