Join the Wireless Logic Adventure:

You will report into a Software Engineering Manager for the Zero Gravity squad in the Product Experiences Domain. You'll collaborate with your Product Manager, Engineering Team Lead, Delivery Manager and engineering colleagues to produce experiences that drive customer-value.

We are evolving into a Product Operating Model, shifting from an IT mindset to a product-driven culture that focuses on solving real customer problems and delivering tangible business outcomes.

As part of this transformation, our team has planned to deliver secure, self-service tools and lifecycle management solutions that empower customers to manage their IoT environments with confidence. You'll begin by helping us establish foundational capabilities for customer-controlled user management and access governance.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has primarily specialised in building backend systems, but also one who is keen to learn new things, make an impact and contribute across the stack — from Frontend to Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities: 🌎

• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and EDAs (Node, Nest, Kafka, Rabbit, PHP, Symfony)

• Reverse-engineer complex code to solve difficult problems

• Lead implementing SLIs and SLOs to better understand our services (Grafana)

• Develop and maintain complex user interfaces and web applications (React)

• Lead CI/CD pipeline integration and optimisation with wider-team and colleagues

• Collaborate with your colleagues and be a strong team player

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Continuously grow yourself and contribute to team development

• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, integrating AWS services following established patterns and module standards

• Share responsibility for operational excellence through on-call support and incident response for critical systems

Key Experience & Skills: 🍨

Required

• Experience implementing asynchronous processing and messaging systems

• Experience working with REST APIs

• Experience implementing frontend frameworks

• Experience building, optimising and maintaining production applications end-to-end

• Experience with PostgreSQL & MySQL, including query optimisation and performance tuning

Preferred

• Handling basic data migration and transformation processes

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration (Gitlab)

Bonus

• Experience with microfrontends and component communication
