Senior Software Engineer- (React & Next.JS )

BOLD is looking for a Software Engineer to work on a new project that merges recruitment with advertising technology. Working with product management, collaborating with world-wide development squads in an agile environment, you will work on features that have an impact on job seekers, recruiters, and employers to match the right candidate to the right job. We are modernising our platform and services to simplify the process of finding the right candidate for the right job. We want it to be a rewarding experience for all involved.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

BOLD Platform services team design, creates, manage and maintains the highly scalable and distributed services for the wider use of web and mobile product applications/portals/websites. The current list of services is based on Microservices architecture whose domain ranges from visitor tracking, User profiles, authentication, content and payments.

Platform team uses state of the art modern technologies like .Net framework, Python, Java, SQL Server, My SQL, Graph DB, SOLR, and a lot of other tools & technologies serving millions of users with hundreds of million transactions everyday through a scalable and fault tolerant architecture.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Implement SSR/SSG, routing, and data-fetching strategies for optimized performance.

• Design and manage SCSS/CSS architecture to ensure responsive and maintainable styling.

• Write and maintain unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code quality.

• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs securely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker).

• Use Git for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development.

• Continuously monitor, debug, and optimize applications for speed and performance

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Strong TypeScript (proficiency with modern ES features)

• React & Next.js (including SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching, and performance optimization)

• SCSS / CSS architecture (scalable styling patterns and responsive design)

• Unit Testing (Jest and React Testing Library)

• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs

• Experience with CI/CD (ideally Jenkins and Spinnaker)

• Git
