This is a Senior Developer position where you will work with Java and Oracle technologies. Altogether your major responsibility will be to on-board data to our fundamentals database in the Commodities from external web sources and ensure the data is correctly added and updated in the databases for further distribution to our customers. You will be much exposed to partner with a number of internal teams, which makes this job diverse and gives opportunity to learn constantly.
YOU AND YOUR TEAM:
This is a Senior Developer position where you will work with Java and Oracle technologies. WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT?
The Content that we onboard is used by a varied group of external customers that use it to analyse the vector of commodities market trading. The content is delivered though our flagship desktop product LSEG Workspace and specialized commodities feed product LSEG PointConnect. Our customers, mostly big production companies, trading houses and asset managers, take advantage of your expertise to deliver accurate content in a timely manner to take their business decisions every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based ETL solutions
- Work with Oracle SQL database to retrieve and manipulate data
- Ensure data quality and consistency
- Collaborate with commodities market analysts
- Dataflow monitoring
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 year experience working with Java 8
- Experience with ETL tools (Apache POI, Commons-IO, or Java-based ETL solutions)
- Oracle SQL knowledge
- Experience working with APIs
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle, issue tracking, and version control
- Good command in English - both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Python & Playwright

Compensation Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł125,600 - 198,600. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
