Overview of Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our innovative technology team. This pivotal role involves driving the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software solutions that directly contribute to our clients' AI transformation journeys.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and rigorously test robust cloud-native applications using core technologies such as Java, React, or NodeJS.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure the successful and seamless delivery of 66degrees solutions.

• Own and contribute significantly to all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from conception through deployment.

• Produce high-quality, scalable, and well-documented code, while actively performing debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Effectively collaborate with our geographically dispersed global teams, including offshore partners, to meet client needs across various time zones.

Qualifications

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 4-8 years of progressive experience in developing and deploying cloud-native applications.

• Proven Full Stack Engineering capability with expertise in both front-end and back-end development.

• Deep expertise in Java and React or NodeJS, coupled with experience in at least one modern language: JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.

• Demonstrated experience in establishing and optimizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance software delivery velocity.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a professional services or consulting environment.

• Experience developing applications on major cloud platforms, with a preference for the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) suite of products and services.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.
