Our Shared Services team supports other Jedox Platform teams by providing central services, e.g. for authentication. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Java (m/f/d) to strengthen and enable the team to develop and integrate our central authentication service.

Your Responsibilities:
Senior Software Engineers are key contributors to the sustainable technical development of robust Jedox tools and services. They are proactive leaders in all technical aspects, from architecture to design to development, maintenance and integration.

• Independently solve complex problems, manage workload, prioritize tasks, andconsistently deliver high-quality results.
• Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable solutions,participating in the full software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the needs, ensuring clear communication and continuousimprovement.
• Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, stay current with technology trends, and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

Your Profile:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications.
• Solid understanding of authentication protocols, including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0,and JWT (experience with at least one required).
• Strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Proven ability to design secure, multi-tenant, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience with scalable microservice architectures and cloud-ready applications (using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, load balancing, cloud security).
• Security-first mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and collaborative approach.
