Position Summary:

Bottomline Technologies continues to deliver compelling user experiences built with modern UI technologies to large banks and financial institutions around the world. We are looking to add the right individual to our highly skilled and dedicated UI Development group. As a UI Developer at Bottomline, you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of Bottomline’s key Platforms.

This position is based at our Bangalore, India office.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with product designers and UX specialists

• Translation of UX designs into UI Components

• Participation in Code Reviews

• Documents code changes and unit test results per Best Practices

• Performs production support and troubleshooting and maintenance (defect resolution)

• Provide clear communication to senior management

• Maintenance of Bottomline’s UI Design Library

• Follow release cycles and commitment to deadlines.

• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.

Required Skills:

• Strong JavaScript knowledge, ES6.

• Frameworks: React JS, Unit Test Cases (Jest or similar)

• Knowledge in Micro-frontend architecture.

• Good knowledge and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkin/GitLab, Bitbucket). 

• A strong proponent of clean, valid, maintainable and semantically correct HTML and CSS (Responsive Design).

• Should have an understanding of object-oriented concepts using Javascript and separation of concerns.

• In-depth knowledge of the capabilities of Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of single spa.

• Knowledge of Responsive Design principles

• Experience with Agile methodology a plus

• Working knowledge and experience with JIRA, Confluence and Git.

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA success criteria.

Experience and Education:

• 5+ years of UI Development

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
