What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with a strong background in front end technologies and a passion for building delightful user experiences. We welcome new ideas and fresh perspectives that you bring with yourself which can help grow our team, and our platform both internally and with our customers. Your contributions will be extremely important to the success of the team through your technical work, experience and leadership. You will continuously build and expand your own technical expertise as well as drive excellence in engineering within the team.

What you’ll be working on

• Collaborate with product teams to build innovative experiences that disrupt the Market Research industry

• Have end-to-end ownership of new features, including creating technical specifications, collaborating with designers, writing great code, and monitoring product health

• Investigate and address issues with performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Be a trusted consultant for the team in matters of technical architecture and planning.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, testing, code reviews, and mentorship to help the team reach their full potential

We’d love to hear from people with

• 5+ years experience in web application development with a focus on Front End

• Solid experience with React framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

• Experience GraphQL and coding against internal/external services and APIs

• Experience building web apps with great usability, supporting high-traffic and high availability.

• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring others

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers and cross-functional partners

As such, this opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
