We’re looking for a senior software engineer for building and managing our Marketing Automation suite of products from small businesses.

The role requires designing and building high performance applications from scratch using spark and Scala. This role is responsible to ensure the delivery of high quality, robust and scalable solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architect, design, and implement core CRM engine using emerging technologies

• Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves scalability

• Participate and influence development process, including development standards and practices, system architecture and design, functional

and technical design and implementation, and unit and regression test design

• Build early prototypes of product components and validate them for technical design and performance

• Provide application support and systems maintenance

• Develop real time

and batch processing applications and expose data over API to a wide array of consumers

• Be responsive and decisive on adjusting our product architecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technology evolve

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• MS in Computer Science or similar discipline strongly desired

• 5+ years relevant work experience

• 3+ years of experience in development/design the software using Scala

• Experience with building large-scale distributed enterprise system

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience with Functional Programming

• Experience with Spark using RDDs

• Spark SQL and Spark Streaming is a plus

• Knowledge of SBT

• Experience with ELK stack

• Hands-on experience with of Hadoop, Hbase is a plus

• Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
