The engineer we're looking for::
• Adaptive Intelligence: We don’t hire people just because they know one specific technology. We hire people who can quickly learn any technology. Instead of staying comfortable, you enjoy solving new and challenging problems.
• Strategic Architecture: We need an engineer explains not just What was built, but Why it was built that way. You can evaluate different options and choose the best solution, even when there isn’t much data.
• Partnership, Not Execution: You don’t just follow requirements. You question them, improve them, and help shape the solution. You work closely with clients as a partner and communicate proactively to solve problems early.
• Continuous Evolution: AI is not just a shortcut to finish work faster. It’s a tool that helps you work smarter. You keep learning new tools and share that knowledge to help the whole team improve.

In this role, you will::
• Work directly with international clients to understand what they're building and why, then help shape the technical direction, not just execute it.
• Lead delivery on complex workstreams, making architectural decisions and setting standards for the work around you.
• Think beyond the ticket in front of you: understand the business impact of your decisions, flag trade-offs early, and push back when something doesn't make sense.
• Mentor and elevate the engineers you work alongside through code reviews, shared context, and honest feedback.
• Share what you learn: a useful AI prompt, a pattern that worked, a mistake worth avoiding.

What you will bring::
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex projects end-to-end.
• Experience working on international projects, ideally with European clients or teams.
• A career that shows you've worked across multiple domains and picked up different stacks along the way, not because the job required it, but because you're genuinely curious.
• Our clients tend to operate in e-commerce, travel, fintech, healthcare, and logistics. Deep experience in at least one or two of these domains enough to understand the business, not just the codebase.
• Our common stacks lean toward React or Vue on the frontend, PHP, Node.js, Go, .NET, or Java on the backend, and AWS or GCP for infrastructure. We don't expect you to know all of them, but we do expect you to have moved between a few and have strong opinions about why.
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc.) as part of your actual workflow, and the judgment to know when to trust them and when not to.
Nice to have
• Experience building AI-powered features or working on AI Agent systems.
