Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver best-in-class lending experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
● Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications for Paytm’s lending products
● Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality frontend code
● Develop reusable components and frontend libraries for scalability and consistency
● Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
● Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
● Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and testing
● Participate in feature planning, technical discussions, and architectural decisions

Required Skills & Qualifications
● Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
● Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js (preferred)
● Good understanding of state management, component-based architecture, and REST APIs
● Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
● Familiarity with Git, version control, and agile development practices
● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Good to Have
● Experience working on fintech or lending products
● Exposure to Next.js, performance optimization, and SEO best practices
● Understanding of frontend security, authentication flows, and data protection
● Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
