Senior Software Engineer (Front-End)

Job Overview: We are looking for a Software Engineer proficient with React, Next.js, and AI-native interfaces, with a plus for .NET and/or Python. You will be responsible for high quality, performant deliverables and for helping to create, evangelize, and enforce the standards necessary to meet team and company goals for the customer experience

Responsibilities:

• Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

• Operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear

• Take full ownership over decisions, actions, and failures

• Develop and implement reusable, high quality, highly responsive components using React concepts

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a resilient, performant manner

• Develop and maintain high quality, maintainable software applications by adhering to secure coding standards and practices

• Participate in multi-resource projects in an agile environment

• Evaluate/recommend industry standards, tools, and methods

• Document software design and contribute to design reviews

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (computer science or related) or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience with languages and frameworks such as: React & Typescript

• 2+ years of experience with GraphQL

• Product-driven mindset with deep empathy for our customers and strong intuition for end-user experience and business value

• Strong desire to work in a startup with interest to take on projects from zero to one with collaboration with the rest of the team

• Love working hard and enjoy a fast-paced ambiguous environment

• Experience with distributed, reactive systems

• Open mindset to exploring new language and frameworks

• Passion for operational excellence

• Experience supporting cross-team efforts in order to roll-out a new feature or functionality

• Passion for learning and continuous improvement

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in functional-programming

• Experience working in a Scrum/agile environment

• Working in an early startup environment or on SaaS products is a plus
