Senior Software Engineer - Forge Sustainment

ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Forge team at Anduril is dedicated to developing and maintaining our proprietary supply chain, manufacturing, and deployment mission execution software. This platform is essential for supporting our operations and ensuring that we can swiftly and effectively meet our defense objectives.

As a Software Engineer on the Forge Sustainment team, you'll architect and implement mission-critical applications that directly enhance our nation's defense capabilities. You'll build sophisticated solutions that:

• Supports field operators with reliable tools for maintenance and deployment

• Streamlines complex business processes across the organization

• Enhances operational efficiencies throughout the post-production pipeline

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work in a mini-startup environment to create elegant SaaS or on-premise solutions that outperform existing market offerings

• Work with a high-functioning team of developers with an emphasis on finishing business-critical projects

• Write high-quality code that enhances the performance, scalability, and reliability of the Forge platform

• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and discussions to continuously improve our systems

• Provide technical support for Forge users and troubleshoot issues as they arise

• Have an area of deep expertise in a portion of the full stack (i.e. backend, frontend, integration)

• Automate company operations to drive bottom-line dollar savings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products, ideally in a fast-paced environment

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree

• Experience working with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements

• Proficiency with web-based technologies such as Javascript, React, Typescript, and web frameworks such as Remix or NextJS

• Ability to empathize with end-users, to turn needs into features, and to balance user experience with engineering constraints

• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply but our tech stack uses AWS, Typescript, and React/Remix so familiarity with all of these tools and languages would be useful

• Experience in hyper growth startup-like environments, with demonstrated successes in scaling and maturing software development processes, team culture and methods, and ability to balance short-term and long-term trade offs

• Previous experience with supply chain, manufacturing, or related enterprise software is a plus

• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

US Salary Range
$191,999—$287,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
